Fiesta Casserole
This is my new favorite thing to make for a big group...easier than lasagna and always a hit! Thanks to Kristal for the recipe!
1 lb. ground beef
1 green pepper, diced
1 red pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
2 c. frozen corn
2 c. Tex Mex cheese
1 can diced tomatoes
2 c. salsa
12 flour tortillas
Brown hamburger, onions and peppers. Drain. Add corn, tomatoes, and salsa. Bring to a boil. Layer in a 9x13" pan as you would lasagna--a little sauce, [tortillas, sauce, cheese] x 3.

Grillo Patriarchs
Tutto fa brodo
Literally translated, tutto fa brodo means "everything makes soup," or "everything goes in the soup." Its usage, however, broadly means "a little bit of everything is good for you."
Thank you to Black Saturday Bushfire Diary for this explanation and for inspiring the name of our blog.
Special thanks also to Andrea Schleppegrell Dekich (an honorary Grillo), for her photo of Perch Lake at sunset, used as our header.
